Yash Raj Films has officially announced the title of its upcoming romantic action-drama starring Ahaan Panday and Sharvari. Titled Beparwah, the film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra. The studio unveiled the title and teaser poster on October 26, exactly five months before the film’s scheduled theatrical release.
Beparwah will arrive in cinemas worldwide on March 26, 2027, coinciding with the Good Friday holiday. The film marks the first on-screen collaboration between Panday and Sharvari, bringing together two actors who have recently featured in major Yash Raj Films projects.
The teaser poster offers an early indication of the film’s tone without revealing details of its storyline. It features Panday and Sharvari standing close together, their heads touching while their faces remain out of view. Panday is holding a gun, while Sharvari holds a guitar. The poster carries the tagline “Fearless in love”, suggesting a romantic core alongside the film’s action elements.
Plot details remain under wraps. The film has been described as a romantic action-drama, with Aaishvary Thackeray playing the antagonist opposite Panday. Bobby Deol is also part of the cast. The combination of romance and large-scale action brings together elements associated with Zafar’s previous work, although the makers have yet to reveal further details about the characters or the central conflict.
Beparwah will be Ahaan Panday’s first film following his screen debut in Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara, in which he starred opposite Aneet Padda. Released in 2025, the musical romance became a major box-office success and established Panday as a new face in Hindi cinema.
The upcoming film also marks Panday’s return to Yash Raj Films, the production house behind Saiyaara. Following the success of his debut, Beparwah will see the actor take on a project that combines romance with action, expanding his screen presence beyond his first theatrical release.
Sharvari, meanwhile, has built a varied filmography since making her debut in Yash Raj Films’ Bunty Aur Babli 2 in 2021. She gained wider recognition with the horror-comedy Munjya in 2024 and later starred opposite Alia Bhatt in Alpha, another Yash Raj Films production. Beparwah also reunites her with Bobby Deol, who appeared alongside her in Alpha.
For Ali Abbas Zafar, the film marks his fifth collaboration with Yash Raj Films and Aditya Chopra. His earlier projects with the banner include Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011), Gunday (2014), Sultan (2016) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). The latter two films, both starring Salman Khan, were major commercial successes.
Zafar co-wrote the screenplay for Beparwah with Chopra, who is also producing the film. A substantial portion of the production took place in the United Kingdom, where the film was extensively shot.
The director’s previous work has spanned romantic comedy, crime drama and large-scale action. Beparwah brings these elements together in his latest collaboration with Yash Raj Films, although the makers have not yet disclosed how they figure into the film’s narrative.
The title announcement and teaser poster provide the first official glimpse of the project ahead of its planned theatrical release. The makers have yet to reveal a full synopsis or announce further promotional details.
Beparwah is scheduled to release worldwide in cinemas on March 26, 2027.
