“Kingston” (also marketed as “Kingston and the Cursed Sea”) is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language fantasy horror film that follows the thrilling and eerie adventures of Kingston, a young man who embarks on a perilous journey across a cursed sea. The film delves into the supernatural and mysterious elements that Kingston encounters, making it a spine-chilling experience for the audience.
“Kingston” is directed by Kamal Prakash and produced by G. V. Prakash Kumar, who also appears in the lead role, under the banners of Parallel Universe Pictures and Zee Studios. The film stars Divyabharathi, Elango Kumaravel, Sabumon Abdusamad, Antony, and Chetan in pivotal roles.
The film was officially announced in October 2023 under the tentative title GV 25, as it is Prakash’s 25th film in the lead role, and the official title was announced a few days later. Principal photography commenced the same month. The film has music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography handled by Gokul Benoy, and editing by San Lokesh.
