Celebrated filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has expressed his frustration with the current state of Bollywood. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Kashyap revealed that he is considering relocating from Mumbai to South India to explore a more creatively stimulating environment.
“Now it is difficult for me to go out and make films. That’s why I want to move out of Mumbai next year. I am going to the South. I want to go where there is stimulation,” he shared during the interview.
Known for his bold storytelling and unconventional narratives, Kashyap gained widespread recognition with films like Black Friday, Dev D, Gulaal, and Gangs of Wasseypur. These films not only garnered critical acclaim but also carved a niche for Kashyap as a filmmaker who redefined contemporary Indian cinema.
