The story followed four young women who travel to Florida for spring break and get pulled into the criminal world of James Franco’s character, Alien. The film stood out for its bright, dreamlike visuals mixed with crime, drugs and violence. For Bella Thorne, Spring Breakers 2 also marks another step in her development as a filmmaker. She is best known for her acting work, but she has already explored projects behind the camera.
