Dhurandhar: The Revenge — Release Date: 19 March 2026. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role, alongside Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Sara Arjun. Produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, this spy action thriller concludes the two-part Dhurandhar saga.
Set against the volatile geopolitical backdrop of South Asia, Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues the journey of undercover Indian intelligence operative Jaskirat Singh Rangi, living under the alias Hamza Ali Mazari. Embedded deep within Karachi’s criminal syndicates and political corridors, his mission evolves from covert intelligence gathering into a deeply personal quest shaped by loss, memory, and unfinished justice.
The narrative explores the interconnected worlds of espionage, organized crime, and state power, revealing how ideology, loyalty, and ambition blur in times of conflict. As Hamza moves closer to influential crime lords, militant networks, and political figures, the film traces the structural machinery behind terror operations and their global ramifications. His actions are shadowed by internal pressures from Indian intelligence leadership, represented by Ajay Sanyal, as well as constant threats from Pakistan’s intelligence and law enforcement ecosystem.
Running parallel to the espionage plot is the film’s emotional spine — the unresolved trauma and moral reckoning following the 26/11 attacks. Rather than functioning solely as a revenge narrative, the film examines the psychological toll of long-term undercover work and the cost of vengeance when national duty and personal grief collide.
Shot across India and Thailand, with locations doubling for Pakistan, Dhurandhar: The Revenge maintains a grounded, realistic visual texture. The film’s tone emphasizes tension over spectacle, focusing on layered performances, political subtext, and methodical storytelling. With its conclusion, the film aims to close the Dhurandhar chapter by confronting the consequences of espionage-driven warfare in a modern, interconnected world.
