Nani’s The Paradise is heading into its September 24, 2026 release with a significant head start, crossing ₹7 crore in advance sales from more than 72,000 tickets across its first four days. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the action drama is already being tracked toward a potential ₹50 crore worldwide opening on Day 1, while its A certificate, September 23 paid premieres and unusual no-trailer strategy have added further curiosity around one of Telugu cinema’s major upcoming releases.

The early booking response is significant because these are pre-release ticket sales, not box-office earnings. Industry tracker Sacnilk puts the four-day advance gross at about ₹7.85 crore, including block seats, with September 24 carrying the strongest demand. That momentum has pushed trade expectations higher, with the film potentially moving beyond Nani’s previous opening benchmarks. HIT: The Third Case opened at around ₹38 crore worldwide, while Dasara recorded ₹36.25 crore. The projected ₹50 crore figure remains a trade estimate, but it reflects the level of expectations surrounding the film.

What makes the build-up even more unusual is what audiences will not see before entering theatres. The Paradise will arrive without a conventional theatrical trailer. Nani confirmed the decision during a recent press interaction, explaining that the team chose to focus on completing the film rather than pulling Srikanth Odela, music composer Anirudh Ravichander and other key members away from the final work to prepare another promotional video. The campaign is instead relying on the teaser, songs, posters and carefully limited glimpses of the story.

That choice gives the film an additional layer of mystery. Modern theatrical campaigns often use trailers to reveal the world, characters and scale of a project, but The Paradise is keeping much of that experience for the cinema. The approach also protects key plot details while allowing the existing promotional material to build anticipation without giving audiences a complete picture.

The reunion between Nani and Srikanth Odela is another major part of the film’s appeal. The two previously worked together on Dasara, and their second collaboration promises a darker and more intense world. Set in 1980s Secunderabad, The Paradise follows Jadal, played by Nani, against a backdrop of social struggle, identity and resistance.

The cast further broadens the film’s reach, with Raghav Juyal, Kayadu Lohar, Mohan Babu and Sonali Kulkarni joining Nani. Their presence gives the project an ensemble dimension, while the multilingual release expands its theatrical footprint beyond the Telugu market.

The film’s certification has also become part of the pre-release conversation. The Paradise has received an A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification and has a reported runtime of two hours and 49 minutes. The certification reflects the film’s mature content and comes as interest builds around its action and emotional themes.

The combination of premium pricing, strong early bookings and a deliberately restrained promotional campaign has made the final two days especially important. Instead of revealing more, the team has allowed anticipation itself to become part of the film’s theatrical event before release.

Meanwhile, Telangana has approved special paid premieres on September 23, with a 6:30 p.m. show priced at ₹500 including GST, alongside revised ticket rates for the regular theatrical run. The approval provides theatres with an earlier opportunity to serve the demand building ahead of release day.

With advance sales already converting curiosity into ticket bookings, a potentially career-best opening in sight, no final trailer to explain the story and a high-profile Nani-Srikanth Odela reunion at its centre, The Paradise has created a release campaign built around anticipation and discovery. The numbers are still only a pre-release signal, but the film has already generated substantial attention ahead of its September 24 theatrical release.
