De De Pyaar De 2

De De Pyaar De 2 (November 14, 2025) is an Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film and the sequel to De De Pyaar De (2019). Directed by Anshul Sharma, written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain, and produced by T-Series Films and Luv Films, the film follows Ashish Mehra (Ajay Devgn), a 52-year-old London-based NRI investor, and his much younger 26-year-old girlfriend, Aisha Khurana (Rakul Preet Singh).

The story begins with Ashish seeking the approval of Aisha’s family after having previously received approval from his own family. When Ashish meets her father, Dev Khurana (R. Madhavan), comedic situations arise due to awkward dynamics between the two families. Jimmy Sheirgill plays Vakil “VK” Kapoor, and Tabu appears as Ashish’s ex-wife, Manju Mehra. Other cast members include Javed Jaffrey, Alok Nath, Madhumalti Kapoor, Inayat Sood, and Bhavin Bhanushali. The film also features cameos from Jackky Bhagnani, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Prakash Raj.

The film’s development began with the script being finalized in August 2023 and the official announcement in March 2024. Anshul Sharma replaced Akiv Ali as director. Principal photography started in June 2024 at Mehboob Studio, Mumbai, with subsequent schedules in Punjab and London. The Punjab schedule was split into two parts due to the director’s dengue illness, with the first schedule completed in September–October 2024 and the second in January–February 2025.

The background score is composed by Hitesh Sonik, with music direction by OAFF-Savera, Tanishk Bagchi, Vipin Patwa, Amaal Mallik, Rajat Nagpal, Rochak Kohli, The Islanders, and Manish J. Tipu. Singers approached for the soundtrack include Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Armaan Malik, and Arijit Singh.

The teaser was launched on October 12, 2025. The film was initially scheduled for release on the long weekend coinciding with International Labour Day and Maharashtra Day but was postponed due to the release of Raid 2. It is now set to release on November 14, 2025.
