Beneath his composed exterior lies a history shaped by violence, loss, and moral conflict, which gradually resurfaces as circumstances force him back into confrontation with powerful adversaries.

The film blends high-energy action with comedy and emotional drama, a tonal mix that has been a defining feature of Harish Shankar’s commercial filmmaking style. Originally announced in 2021 under the title Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh, the film was later retitled Ustaad Bhagat Singh in December 2022. Principal photography began in April 2023, with major schedules shot in Hyderabad. The film’s music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, continuing his long-standing association with Telugu commercial cinema. The soundtrack is designed to support the film’s mass-action tone, with emphasis on energetic themes and elevation moments.

Ustaad Bhagat Singh is scheduled for a theatrical release on 26 March 2026, positioning it as a major Telugu commercial release in the first quarter of the year.
