Flying Colors (Todos los colores) — Release Date: 12 June 2026. Directed by Beatriz de Silva, starring Mafalda Carbonell, Sílvia Abril and Eva Moral. Produced by Atresmedia Cine, Cattleya Producciones and La Canica Films, with participation from Atresmedia and Netflix, the film is a Spanish coming-of-age comedy-drama and marks de Silva’s debut fiction feature.

Set in Madrid, Flying Colors follows 17-year-old Belén as she approaches the end of her Baccalaureate education. As the self-appointed leader of her group of friends, Belén has long defined herself through confidence and social dominance. However, as graduation nears and her friends begin outlining their individual futures, she becomes increasingly concerned about being left behind.

Belén is also a wheelchair user, and the film integrates her lived experience into a broader narrative about adolescence, independence and identity. The story explores how shifting friendships and impending adulthood reshape her sense of belonging. The presence of Laura, a Paralympic athlete, introduces a new perspective into Belén’s life. Through their interactions, Belén begins to reassess her ambitions, fears and understanding of personal agency.

Written and directed by Beatriz de Silva, the film blends humor with emotional introspection. The screenplay situates its protagonist within a transitional moment defined by uncertainty and aspiration, examining how external expectations and internal doubts intersect during late adolescence.

Mafalda Carbonell leads the cast as Belén, joined by Sílvia Abril and Eva Moral as Laura. Supporting roles include Claudia Mora, Amalia Martos and Carlota Jiménez, among others. Principal photography took place in Madrid.

Flying Colors is scheduled to premiere at the 29th Málaga Film Festival in March 2026. Distributed by Wanda Visión, the film is set for theatrical release in Spain on 12 June 2026.
