The Paradise has raced to ₹98.50 crore gross worldwide within just two days of its theatrical release, placing Nani’s latest action drama within touching distance of the ₹100 crore milestone. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the film opened with a career-best ₹76.90 crore worldwide on Day 1, giving Nani his biggest opening yet and setting the tone for a powerful commercial start.
Released theatrically on September 24, The Paradise delivered a remarkable opening despite receiving an A certificate from the CBFC. Its ₹46.25 crore India net on Day 1, including paid premieres, gave it the seventh-biggest opening ever for an A-rated Indian film, moving ahead of Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, which had opened to ₹42.70 crore net.
The film’s worldwide opening also underlined the scale of Nani’s growing reach. The ₹76.90 crore gross included ₹54.90 crore from India and ₹22 crore from overseas markets, according to trade-tracking figures. The result comfortably surpassed Nani’s previous opening records and established The Paradise as his biggest global opener.
The Paradise reunites Nani and Srikanth Odela after their 2023 blockbuster Dasara, and the second collaboration has opened on a dramatically larger scale. In the same two-day comparison, The Paradise has collected roughly twice the worldwide gross that Dasara managed, highlighting the stronger theatrical demand surrounding the new film.
The comparison is especially striking because Dasara had itself established a major benchmark for Nani when it arrived in 2023. The earlier film crossed ₹53 crore gross worldwide in its first two days, according to figures shared by its production house. The Paradise has therefore nearly doubled that two-day benchmark, showing how substantially the scale of Nani’s theatrical market has expanded since that earlier release.
The Hindi market has also delivered a notable breakthrough. The film earned ₹2.25 crore net from its Hindi version on Day 1, making it Nani’s biggest Hindi opening. The figure is 324.53% higher than Dasara’s ₹53 lakh Hindi debut, giving The Paradise another important marker in its pan-India run. That growth is visible across languages, with the Hindi result providing the clearest signal of wider audience interest.
The second day brought a clear slowdown in India. The film collected ₹14.90 crore net on Friday, compared with ₹34.65 crore net on Thursday, representing a sharp 57% drop. The decline came amid mixed audience reactions and lukewarm reviews, but the film still reached ₹61.15 crore net in India and ₹98.50 crore gross worldwide after two days.
That performance keeps the film firmly in the conversation as it heads into its first weekend. With the worldwide total only ₹1.50 crore short of ₹100 crore, the next round of collections will determine how quickly it crosses the milestone.
The Paradise is reportedly among the most expensive films of Nani’s career, with estimates placing its budget around ₹90–150 crore, although the makers have not publicly confirmed a final figure. Nani underwent a major physical transformation for his role as Jadal, the fierce central character at the heart of the story. Mohan Babu plays the antagonist Shikanja Malik, adding another veteran presence to the film’s intense world.
The Paradise has already shown that Nani can command substantial audiences beyond his traditional Telugu base. Its record Hindi opening, strong overseas contribution and near-₹100 crore worldwide total in two days point to a wider theatrical footprint for the actor. The weekend will now reveal whether that opening-day force can translate into sustained momentum, but the early numbers have firmly placed The Paradise among Nani’s biggest commercial launches.
