What begins as a warm family drama set amid Kerala’s picturesque hill country gradually transforms into a suspenseful thriller, replacing moments of domestic comfort with mounting danger. Rather than revealing its central mystery outright, the trailer builds intrigue by withholding key details, making suspense its strongest selling point.
The trailer introduces Meenu, a young woman living a peaceful life with her father in a scenic hillside village. Their close relationship and everyday routine establish an atmosphere of warmth, echoing the film’s recently released song, which highlighted Meenu’s cheerful life against Kerala’s lush landscapes. That sense of familiarity is abruptly disrupted when unidentified intruders arrive at their home, sending the story in a far darker direction. Instead of explaining the threat, the trailer offers only glimpses of the unfolding conflict, allowing mystery to become the film’s primary hook.
The effectiveness of the trailer lies in how gradually it changes its tone.
