The trailer for Drishyam: The Conclusion has arrived, setting up what is being presented as the final chapter of Ajay Devgn’s Vijay Salgaonkar saga. The film is set to arrive in theatres on October 2, 2026, Gandhi Jayanti, with Tabu returning as IG Meera Deshmukh and new forces entering the conflict through Jaideep Ahlawat as SP Crime Branch Rajveer Singh Tomar and Prakash Raj as defence lawyer Indrajith Shetty. The trailer suggests that Vijay’s carefully protected family is facing its most serious challenge yet.

The choice of October 2 gives the conclusion a deliberate connection to the franchise’s past. The date became central to Vijay’s alibi in the first Drishyam, turning an ordinary calendar day into one of the series’ most memorable details. Ajay Devgn has highlighted that connection by noting that the story that began on October 2 will also come to an end on the same date. For a franchise built around planning, memory and carefully placed details, the release date gives the finale a fitting full-circle connection.

The trailer’s biggest emotional shift comes through Tabu’s Meera Deshmukh. Her pursuit of the Salgaonkar family has always been connected to her search for truth and justice, but the new footage suggests that the case has become deeply personal. The return of Shriya Saran as Nandini Salgaonkar, Ishita Dutta as Anju Salgaonkar, Mrunal Jadhav as Anu Salgaonkar, Rajat Kapoor as Mahesh Deshmukh and Kamlesh Sawant as Gaitonde further connects the finale to the franchise’s earlier chapters.
