Governments, corporations, and black-market traders struggle to control or exploit these creatures, while public coexistence remains unstable and dangerous.

At the center of the story are Owen Grady and Claire Dearing, who live in seclusion while protecting Maisie Lockwood, a genetically engineered human whose existence raises profound ethical questions. When Maisie and a young velociraptor named Beta are kidnapped, Owen and Claire embark on a rescue mission that draws them into a much larger global conspiracy.

Parallel to this storyline, paleobotanist Ellie Sattler investigates genetically engineered locusts devastating global crops. Her findings point toward Biosyn Genetics, a powerful genomics corporation operating a massive dinosaur preserve in the Italian Dolomites. Ellie reunites with Alan Grant, and together they uncover evidence suggesting that Biosyn is manipulating ecosystems to gain control over the world’s food supply.

Ian Malcolm, now working within Biosyn, secretly aids their investigation, exposing CEO Lewis Dodgson’s misuse of genetic technology. Central to the crisis is Dr. Henry Wu, whose past experiments created both the dinosaurs and the biotech tools now threatening planetary collapse. Wu seeks redemption by developing a solution using Maisie’s unique genetic makeup and the phenomenon of asexual reproduction observed in certain cloned species.

As multiple storylines converge at Biosyn’s sanctuary, chaos erupts when evidence is destroyed, triggering a wildfire and unleashing dinosaurs into the facility. Former heroes and new allies work together to escape, confront Dodgson’s crimes, and prevent ecological disaster.

The film closes with the exposure of Biosyn, the containment of the locust threat, and a tentative global agreement to allow humans and dinosaurs to coexist. Rather than restoring the old world, Jurassic World Dominion accepts irreversible change, framing the franchise’s conclusion around adaptation, responsibility, and the consequences of playing god.
