Living from paycheck to paycheck and relying on each other through every challenge, the pair suddenly find themselves caught in a bizarre case of mistaken identity that thrusts them into an increasingly chaotic situation. As unexpected encounters, misunderstandings, and dangerous complications pile up, the friends are forced to navigate a series of unpredictable events while trying to preserve both their friendship and their freedom. The narrative blends offbeat comedy with crime caper elements, using the duo’s unconventional outlook on life to drive the escalating chaos.

Kristen Stewart stars as Frankie, also known as Frances, alongside Alia Shawkat as Molly. The supporting cast includes LaKeith Stanfield, Tony Hale, Zack Fox, Geena Davis, and Kate McKinnon, while Seth Rogen and Kumail Nanjiani lend their voices to two cats named Dio and GG. Additional appearances by Cate Blanchett, Sugar Lyn Beard, Thomas Nicholson, Thor Knai, and Thomas La Barbera Christensen further expand the film’s eccentric ensemble.

Director Dylan Meyer makes her feature filmmaking debut with an original screenplay that combines character-driven humor with surreal situations and unconventional storytelling. The production reunites Kristen Stewart and Meyer creatively while bringing together a cast known for comedy, independent cinema, and improvisational performances. Cinematography is by Todd Banhazl, while singer-songwriter Ty Segall contributes to the film’s musical identity, reinforcing its alternative and independent aesthetic. Principal photography took place in Los Angeles during 2025.
